CRAFTING DIGITAL EXPERIENCES

I'm Magnus Hugubakken, a creative and collaborative UX Designer with over 3 years of experience creating digital products that people actually enjoy using. Alongside my design practice, I co-run Studio Hackspett, where I apply my UX expertise in real client projects, designing websites and digital solutions with a strong focus on usability, clarity, and user value.

I enjoy working hands-on throughout the entire design process, from understanding users and their needs to shaping concepts, designing interactions, and testing ideas in practice. For me, good design starts with listening. Through workshops, interviews, and research, I explore people’s behaviors and contexts to uncover what truly matters. I turn these insights into clear and intuitive solutions, always with a focus on accessibility and inclusivity. I thrive in collaborative and agile environments where ideas evolve through teamwork. Prototyping, iterating, and testing are central to how I work, ensuring that designs don’t just look good, but function effectively and create real impact.

When I’m not designing, you’ll often find me in the kitchen. Cooking is where I get to explore creativity in a hands-on way, from experimenting with flavors to perfecting the details of a dish. You can find my food account here.
